sound effects

I was watching 5555 for the second time yesterday and noticed that there are sound effects in it. I thought the only sound was supposed to be the music.
for example, there is cheering from a crowd in about the 4th or 5th song when the band take the stage (but I thought that might be part of the music) and when the robot henchmen crash head on into a truck there was a lot of crashing noises.
are these sounds on the 'discovery' album?

also, there are chimes signalling the end/beginning of some of the songs, especially the first lot. are these on the album too?

If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88mph...
You're gonna see some serious sh!t!

The chimes are on the album. The sound effects are not.

Interstella is littered with sound effects additional to the original tracks, and some ideas are even subtly expressed via on-screen text (in English). Also, there are breaks between tracks in which the animation continues (between One More Time and Aerodynamique at the start, for instance). So the music isn't everything, no.

The Dong-Dong between One More Time and Aerodynamic apperas one the Album too, but the difference here is, that the bells only ring 4 time on the album but 8 times in the film

Another 'major difference* between the album and the film is, the break between Harder, better, faster, stronger and crescendolls, where the producer listens to the tv-clip of one more time. This is definately on on the album.

The ending you hear a track of aerodynamic, which is remixed, that track is not on the discovery album

I think that most of the sound effects are necessary to improve the movie, but some of them are just unwanted in my eyes, like the antenna's sound in one more time.....

And the discovery is in this case pronounced Disco-Very
