They NEED to make a live action version of this sucker!

May there be mercy on Man and Machines for their sins.

I think a live action one wuld be just too CGI'ed, i HATE CGI, they haven't done a real movie in years...

A long anime would be cool

Lmao, the sequels were all too CGI aswell, it didn't stop them from making those did it. In fact this story would have been a better use of CGI rather than wasting it on a pointless fight scene between KR and a hundred or so Smiths.

Fact is this was going to be the prequel they had planned but just like any good movie company would, they didn't want to back it as it wouldn't have the big cast names that were in the original and the sequel they were about to make. A shame really.

I agree, this would be an awesome film if made...and done right. There would be a lot of CGI but how else to film it. Plus it could be added upon by explaining the construction of Zion and the other underground cities and detail the beginnings or the resistance and of the Prophecy of the One.

"This sucker" doesn't need to be made, but another story set in the times of this history of the fall of man would be interesting. You need it to be a story with characters rather than the format of this film, which is basically all backstory. The poeticism of how this was made works in the short format, but a long format film or series definitely needs some compelling characters and plotlines. But then I guess that's exactly what you meant to begin with.
