Russia currently has about a million people already infected with HIV, about the same number as the number in the US (with less than half of the total population), and the number is growing much faster than it is in the US.

Rates of infection from syphilis and gonorrhoea are also high and increasing rapidly.

When are world television audiences going to get some honest programming about this?
