I'm halfway through season 4 and Karen gets increasingly annoying each episode.
Ugly, self-righteous middle aged woman with a messed up family and stupid failed cafe.
I hope she dies soon.

Wow. well to each their own. I liked Karen but I understand why she is the way she is. You gotta consider everything that went on between her and Dan in their past and everything that goes on as the story progresses on the show.
Her character isn't perfect but she handles things a lot better than Deb does throughout the show if you ask me.
Deb is the female character that I can't stand along with Brooks mom.
Deb and Karen are presented as being victims of Dan. I never cared for Deb either she tried to live like a 20 year old despite her advanced years. I also think she would have considered Skills to be a step down.
