Why no 'diversity' in the Village?

Are they racists??

reply

No, the viewers are meant to assume this is a past time period. There wouldn't be various races in a colonial type village of the time.

reply

Yeah and Alexander Hamilton was white, but here we are.

reply

The Hamilton play isn't trying to fool the audience.

reply

No, but it is playing to the woke fools.

reply

Diversity is a weakness. Like a flaw in a diamond, that's where it's easiest to split.

reply

You're an idiot.

reply

because it would give away the twist

reply

Because not everyone is a psycho, moron like you.
Only fascists idiots think the diversity of the entire planet must be forced into every little thing.
Only self hating westerners think moronic stuff like this.

reply

You understand people are going to take this question seriously, right?

reply

No, they were supposed to be european settlers, hence white.

reply

No, they are not racists. They were acquaintances of each other and they happened to be white people. Had they had known or were friends with people of other colors/races who knew of what they planned but did not let them in on it, that would have been showing they were racists. But that was not the case.

reply

Good point. Remake required.
