Question for 'askjill' from user comments section

In the user comments, askjill starts off with: "perhaps in the genre of "A Beautiful Mind..."

WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU THINKING, JILL?!! Hey, your very name begs my asking... This piece of crap is nowhere NEAR the outer limits of the slightest vicinity of "A Beautiful Mind." I find your parallel sickening! Just how out-of-touch could you possibly be - or ANY of you "Echoes" disciples, while I'm at it?! Perhaps I'm beginning to surmise the startling answer to this question. Can't you all see?! This is the same as commenting on an old, rotten hamburger patty and starting off: "perhaps in the genre of fine, juicy, grade-A steaks..."

Forgive my candor; I'm just really turned off by "religious" people who are so out of touch, they can't discern crap from quality, the real McCoy from pathetic imitations that PALE in comparison... A movie (or ANY art for that matter) is NOT automatically GOOD just because it may reflect your world-view somewhat!! If someone says something you happen to agree with, do you automatically LOVE that person - think they're one of the greatest people you've ever met? Of course not... Because as humans, we happen to be graced with these nifty little qualities called discernment, discretion, rational thought...

I challenge anyone to watch this thing - REALLY watch it, listen to it - and be HONEST with yourself as to what exactly these "film-makers" are ultimately selling. I think if you do, you'll see that THEY'RE not being very honest with YOU! (Thus, the signature mark of a BAD artist). Remember: the TRUTH always has a certain ring to it... All I heard coming out of this film were the groans from my churning stomach. Virginity will not save you! Nor will "Hail-Mary's" nor "Our Fathers"... My point is that this film was chock-full of nothing but tired clichés and false doctrine from beginning to end. A REALTIONSHIP WITH GOD is ALL that matters.

"Seek, and ye shall find. Knock, and the door shall be opened unto you."

...Just PLEASE don't look to "Echoes of Innocence" for guidance! -- (Nor anything redeeming and/or worthwhile for that matter).

Actually I think that it is a very beautiful movie. Maybe not very well done, but the underlining theme of keeping your virginity in the face hardship mistrust of others is a lesson we need to see in more movies these days.
