I loved this movie!

I just saw this movie for the first time this evening and I loved it, I am going to have to purchase it for sure! I loved the characters, I was totally believing in them! Robin Wright Penn is excellent as usual. If you love independent films, and like to collect them as I do, I would highly recommend this one! It is worth at least a rental. x x x

oh man, don't bother.
this movie is a waste of time. it tried so hard to be an "indie film" that it turned out to be dull, confusing, and pretentious...

I saw this film last night and it is remarkably powerful and deeply intelligent. contrary to socked71's comment, this film was not trying to be an 'indie film'. it WAS an indie film, they had only 65,000 dollar budget which is as indie as you can get. they used digital video because it's less expensive than film and they had only 21 days to shoot. everyone on the shoot worked for NO money, that's FREE, because they had none to give. if you've been to film school or made films, you would know what it takes to make films otherwise, you may be just as socked out, 71 times as much as socked71.

spread peace...

look, i didnt mean 'indie film' literally--i meant that this film is trying too hard be unique and it just ends up being an utter failure.

and besides, i wouldn't follow the critique of someone who uses lines like
"you may be just as socked out, 71 times as much as socked71."

I know what you mean and I totally agree. I also REALLY hated the camera work. UGH.

Good story though.
