for those confused about Elina/Thomas' whereabouts

i believe Matyas blacked out due to the blood both times he was with Thomas and then with Elina in the dark room.

Matyas caught elina in the showers but you have to think that Thomas would have dressed in a hurry to get over to Matyas' place.

I think the most important thing to remember here is that Elina's face for much of the film isn't clearly seen by the audience.
