This film is so far to left it makes Hillary look like Regan

Ok, most of my friends label me a liberal. I am more of a moderate.

I am 100% against the rampant consumerism in the US and the corporate machine.

But this film was beyond crap. It was awful propaganda.

The rapid edits of repeating dialogue at first were kind of fun, but after 20 minutes of having these sound bytes drilled into your head, your ready to turn it off.

And there is so much BS in the message as well. The G8 people trying to justify terrorism and vandalism by saying that Violence is only against one man to another that you can't be violent by destroying property. What kind of crap is that? They are saying that ripping a McDonalds apart and smashing windows, burning buildings isn't violent because they are buildings? That is them, tryingto justify their actions with false logic.

The neo hippy they interview throughout the movie wants to turn everything back to the stone age. Well if he wants to stone age so very bad, he can move to Africa or go form a commune in Alaska, but you can't force that on people by destroying buildings and property.

yes Corporate america is killing our freedoms and economicly waging war on other countries. It's wrong, but their solution is even more wrong than the problem is.

They show video of huge waste dumps and all the trash we make. Well when you have riots and destroy property your makinga hell of a lot more trash.

And when you burn down a starbucks your not hurting the corporation. It's just a franchise. Your hurting the small business owner who bought that franchise. The corporation doesn't pay for any of it.

I encourage people to watch this film and see how twisted some of these protesters are. I thought the G8 protests were a good thing. But after seeing this and seeing what they are really about I feel sick.

This guys ideas on communism and going back to nature are echoed in the words of Pol Pot and the Camere Rouge and we all know where that led.

If people stop consuming and working so much, the ideas of this movie WILL come true. Better than destroying Starbucks is to simply not drink coffee. The movie doesn't have a clear message, because they're showing good and bad things about different ideas. I'm not anxious to move to Cuba after seeing this film. On the other hand, I'm not going to McDonalds. I'm not going to destroy property, with the risk of being arrested or beaten by the police. I'm also not going to stand and praise the police, while they gas protestors and arrest people for drugs. I think the most important message is to think about things.

I suspected that is this was just a bunch of propaganda.

Sounds like no real solutions were offered either.

Thanks for saving me some time!
