The anglophone in the Bruce Cambell's Hand 2 commercial looks very familiar to me. For some reason I think he's an author, but I can't name him, and he's not listed in the credits on IMDB.
Is he anyone at all, or just some American they found while shooting the film? I'd like to think I'm not imagining him as familiar.
I'm pretty sure they are referring to Bruce Campbell..B movie actor, plays in the popular Evil Dead/Army of Darkness movies..In the Evil Dead he ends up losing a hand and replacing it with a chainsaw..so I guess the connection is there.

shareI hope the credits have been updated, because I don't recall seeing "Norman England" there, who also shows up as being in two other Japanese films, and his name googles as being Japanese correspondent for horror-mag Fangoria. I'm willing to bed that's him. I don't recall anyone else in the film who might look like a "Norman England" :)
shareYeah, based on the picture Norm England has up on his DoTD site and the pics I saw of him in a Japanese mag, that's him. The other guy in the commercial is the author of the novel, Kenji Otsuki. The original novel was an interesting read, although, like the movie, it's pretty far out there.
