This is going to be a cult classic comedy

This is going to be a cult classic comedy which you're not supposed to like because those appologies for critics and narrow minded folk (most who havent seen it by their own admissions) say you shouldnt.

I broke a rib it was soooo funny, well almost, critics hate it but the audience it was aimed at love it and whats wrong with that. In fact everyone I spoke to has a different gag to quote From The amorous grandma (from Little Britain) to the fat bloke in the wardrobe, the three in a bed scene the strawberry jam bit there are just too many scenes which are classics

Im and intellegent middle aged bloke who loves good movies I also get this big time which is what the critics have failed to grasp they just dont get it one bit

haha I loved it,especially the guy in the wardrobe. 4 days later and i can still get a laugh out of my mate by saying "you know the big dollops right"

I agree, i have read so many bad reviews of this film (by critics i trust and those i despise - neither of which i give a fk about because, Hey - guess what?, ive got a mind of my own!) but have seen it 4 or 5 times and think its great. It is beautifully british in a kind of post/updated carry on style and is wonderfully crude and disgusting in a very normal, very British THIS IS HOW PEOPLE TALK IN PUBS kinda way. Some twat in another post dissed it (without seeing it - *beep* whilst bigging up 'dumb and dumber' - jesus christ, i am a very serious movie buff and mix with suchlike but if i ever admitted an admiration of d & d i would be laughed out of the country. Just watch the fkg film! if you like coarse disgusting humour then you'll love it, if you dont or if you're up on stoopid american so called comedy films then go and watch porkys Thats all folks.

A Cult Classic - Stretching that one, I reckon. I think Shaun of the Dead will be considered a classic piece of British comedy.

Dont get me wrong....I thought the film was funny. It was rude, crude and lewd...but the jokes were easy meat. You cant exactly say, that the writer was tested??? The jokes and scenarios could be dreamed up by anyone in a pub on a Friday night for some easy laughs...My mother-in-law does this or has tried to do that....I heard it from a mate of mine 7 years ago..about his wife's Mum.

Funny the film was...and on reflection a film like this was ready to be made...But classic....Me thinks not!

I liked Shaun of the Dead, but this is WAY better. This is a great film.
Absolutely hilarious - brilliant comedy.

Shut up Robred69.

A 'cult classic' means the film will only come to appreciated in years to come. 'Shaun Of The Dead' is already considered a classic by most so its already appreciated.

As far as your Mother in law goes - well I wouldnt touch her with a *beep* stick!

I have a hard time imagining anyone over the age of 13 finding this funny. But there are Will Farrell fans all over the world, so perhaps I am wrong.
