DID U SEE THE MIC ....come on

The movie started OK..I thought it was gonna be like Open waters, low budget movies and yet well directed and produced...The acting, special effects were not very up to standard but again I cant criticize so much as I'm not a professional director or movie maker. BUT what i would critise and punish the editors and directors of the movie was the scene where Frank and Steve are talking sitting down on the woods...You can see on the top of the screen the microphone bulb.....THAT"S completely NON professional....If u wanna put a movie on the screens at least learn how to edit it well...THis one goes for the editors...no complain for the acting, script, or camera effects....

It's just so obvious, why didn't they shoot the scene again ?
What really srtuck me is the kill with the wounded arm...
Or the chainsaw which magically appears in the guys hand...

Unlike some others, I respect the movie, I even like the script, there are some good ideas (the girl, steve getting caught,..).
But what happened to make them release a film with a scene that contains a mic in the middle of the screen ? Is the editor blind ?
Without this HUGE goof, it would have been much better.

Apparently, everyone missed the even more noticeable shadow of the boom mike on the wall in the one early cabin scene. And it's done even in big-budget movies-watch Michael Mann's MANHUNTER again-an excellent film, but in the one scene where Peterson's character is talking to an fbi rep, they're in a HUGE room. The boom mike is clearly visible at top of screen. And HERE, there's ABSOLUTELY no excuse for it, since the room is so large, all they had to do was bring the camera down about a foot. For the all-time award for seeing mikes, that would go to HELL NIGHT with Linda Blair-although I've read where the director filmed it in a process where you didn't see it, but later prints used a different process that renderedcthem noticeable. I don't profess to know, as I'm not a cameraman.
