What do real filmmakers think of this movie?

They must want to murder it. They work their asses off, making masterpieces that often go nowhere, while Tommy makes this lazy pile of crap, and becomes hugely successful. I'm not complaining, I think it's hilarious.

It's such a huge cult hit who cares what those crybabies think?
And it's such an incredible trainwreck that they should applaud Tommy...who else could have made the best/worse movie ever?

Only Tommy...it has inspired drinking games, endless commentary, memes, discussions...Not a bad legacy!

It's like all those times in high school where I worked my ass off on a project and get a "D-" as my grade.

Yes, that happened to me once too often. After that, I decided not to give a fuck and just relax and do bare minimum. My grades got better :)

It's got to be the overthinking that's a factor.
