What is the name of the little French Insect Tamer..?

Well in the beginning of Read or Die, the first bad guy Yomiko encounters the grasshopper man then he is destroyed, but turns into the little French boy, you see him again when they are in India, and when the man with Goku's staff is almost killed, he throws the book to the little French kid being held by one of his flying insects, then the tamer says, "I got it!" Then we see him finally fighting with the gunman Drake Anderson with his huge big fanged insect, but is shot at and mutates into an older form of the French kid.. And the last we see of him, he is blown up by Anderson and I guess that is it.. The French Insect Tamer was my favorite character from the movie, but I do not know what his name is.. If anyone knows please tell me..
