Ending in TV series *SPOILERS POSSIBLE*

I was slow to enjoying the TV series, but once I had seen enough episodes I really enjoyed it. However, I was disappointed with the end--it just seemed . . . flat. Especially compared to the ending to OVA.

I think the problem was the Paper Sisters were crying and yelling when they discovered their past and not sure if they were going to stay together. And the yelling and screaming (by Nenene mostly) when she was trying to convince everyone not to let Joker take away everyone's memories. But when Junior might be dead and Anita definitely looked dead, where was the crying and the screaming and the passion? It just seemed they had far more emotion over their emotions and to me that made it appear they were selfish.

Did anyone else find issue with the ending or endings if you want to include OVA?

I liked the movie OVA better than the tv series. The tv show was one of the most schizophrenic things ever, having an action packed episode and then having three that have nothing happen in them. In this one, they move in. In this one, Anita writes a book report.

After the second half of the series, it finally picked up but sort of rushed its way into a quick 2 episode finale. Of course the villains were gonna lose, but I needed some more closure. It would have been better if Anita died.

I liked Joker's little comatose state and his 'revival' or whatever. They left it ambiguous.
