These taglines are funny! I especially like the first one, it somehow reminds me of Excel Saga
And I really like the cast listing of this adaptation. Seth Rogan is an excellent choice for Nabeshin

Cool! Now let's condense our two soundtracks into our own version of the soundtrack. I think the five songs I'd call "must-haves" in what we'll call "the definitive Puni Puni Poemy soundtrack" are "Seasons in the Abyss" by Slayer, "Not of This World" by Danzig, "Electric Funeral" by Black Sabbath, "Spaceman" by Babylon Zoo, and "Stupid Girl" by Garbage. What do you think should be included in the combination?
>:( "Are you trying to say "capisce"? Because it hurts my ears the way you say it."

This is my arrangement of the songs (but I couldn't think of which song to put as the last song on the list, so I went with "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen. It's a very fitting ending song for many soundtracks ):
1. "Stupid Girl" by Garbage 2. "The Hunter" cover by Blue Cheer 3. "Spaceman" by Babylon Zoo 4. "Descent (Falling Deeper Mix)" by Fear Factory 5. "Tongue Tied" by Eve 6 6. "Electric Funeral" by Black Sabbath 7. "Back on a Mission" by Cirrus 8. "Skeletons of Society" by Slayer 9. "Seasons in the Abyss" by Slayer 10. "The Sound of Silence (electric version)" by Simon and Garfunkel 11. "All Along the Watchtower" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience 12. "4 Minutes" by Madonna featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland 13. I'll list the songs according to genre (since there are some songs of the same type):
Psychedelic rock:
"The Hunter" cover by Blue Cheer
Alternative rock:
"Stupid Girl" by Garbage
Space rock:
"Spaceman" by Babylon Zoo
Electronica:
"Back on a Mission" by Cirrus
Industrial metal:
"Descent (Falling Deeper Mix)" by Fear Factory
Punk rock:
"Tongue Tied" by Eve 6
Heavy metal:
"Electric Funeral" by Black Sabbath
Thrash metal:
"Skeletons of Society" by Slayer "Seasons in the Abyss" by Slayer
Classic rock:
"All Along the Watchtower" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Pop:
"4 Minutes" by Madonna featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland
Folk rock:
"Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen "The Sound of Silence (electric version)" by Simon and Garfunkel
But looking back at what I put down, it seems that most of the songs are sub-categories of Rock music, so it isn't exactly many different genres as I mentioned earlier; it's more like they are of many sub-genres of music together (with a few songs different altogether from rock).
I guess what I meant is that most of the songs listed in this soundtrack sound very diverse from each other.

Glad to see I'm not the only IMDb user who knows Slayer is not death metal as popular belief might say. (Whoever thinks Slayer is death metal, including Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Did Not Do The Research. Why Parker and Stone? Because Cartman says "Hippies can't stand death metal", and the song that scares the hippies away is "Raining Blood" by Slayer. I'd call that one Critical Research Failure, though Kerry King says of that particular South Park episode, "If we can horrify some hippies, we've done our job.")
>:( "Are you trying to say "capisce"? Because it hurts my ears the way you say it."
I think the reason why most people think Slayer is 'death metal' is because any metal music in general is assumed by many to be death metal.
Out of all of today's genres of rock music, metal seems to be the most over-generalized genre since most people say that 'any metal song has to be death metal, and nothing else'. People have also frequently said the same thing about heavy metal.
This idea of generalizing music has happened to other genres as well (such as rap music, which is always confused with 'hip hop' because the two genres are nowadays constantly blended together).
And I like the South Park reference you wrote. It seems that even a clever series like South Park can make mistakes in their jokes

Not all metal music is falsely considered death metal. Slayer is classified as such by many simply because they were reported to have started the death metal movement.
