Can anybody name a worse prequel? This is as bad as it gets, the guy who portrays Hannibal as a young adult is the worst actor I've ever seen.

Phantom Menace was pretty bad.

True his acting was marginal, but the real pitfall of HR was that it took a wonderfully mysterious character with riveting subtlety and turned him into "Charles Bronson Meets Torture Porn".

agreed.

Hannibal did not need a detailed backstory.

Tom Harris screwed the pooch on that one. the rest of his Lecter books are great.

Just about any thing that has got "planet" and "apes" in the title.

Hannibal did not need a detailed backstory.

I quite liked it and have no problems with the character having a back story, especially when it's written by his original creator.

The worst acting I've ever seen. That kid was dreadful. I mean the worst. But someone had to oversee this sobtheyvshouldbbe hung out to dry as well.

I don't think that actor who acted Hannibal in this movie was that bad.But i think the whole movie sucked anyway so i agree with you that this prequel is really bad.
