Tomoka
I'm a little confused with Tomoka's part of the movie. How did she have all those premonitions {the banging on the wall, the cup falling over, seeing her boyfriend hung} before she even went into the house?

There's a belief, that if a event is emotional enough, then it can leave promonitions in the past about what's going to happpen. See Final Destination 1/2/3 and Japanese movie Sky High.
shareI'm not sure of the sequence of events, but I think if she met a person who had been there, she'd have picked up the curse (like the producer of the video). I think the idea of the series is that the curse spreads like a communicable disease.
The same question can be asked of Chiharu - did she ever even go to the house? She had visions of being in it, but she died at her school.
The answer is that she got the curse from Kyoko during the film shoot.
