As a brazilian, I think that this movie is really embarrassing.
As a viewer, I liked it.
Having just watched the movie on DVD, I noticed the comment made by Silvia's real father to her at the end of the movie, followed by the image of Christ in Rio.
Remorse is in there somewhere.
Brazilian movies really shine.
