Complaint about the title

I'll just start with the title and leave it at that, as there are too many complaints to mention.

I may be a grammar nerd, but, the abuse of misplaced modifiers in the title really bothers me. "Serial" modifies "Killer" and "Insane" modifies "Clown"; however, the placement of these words by the creator (based on every aspect of the movie, I will just assume he was in the 3rd grade when he wrote this) suggests there is an a killer murdering insane clowns...and the "serial" is still out of place. It's obvious that is not what the writer is suggesting...but it is the fact it IS so obvious that angers me...when trying to be clever makes one seem retarded, that is just sad. Does this guy really have no friends (or, at the very least, friends with an IQ above 16) to tell him to stop?

Seriously, the title was the first indicator the movie was created by someone with the intelligence of the number 5.

FYI the original shooting title was "Grim Weekend." The distribution company retitled it.
Artisan/Lionsgate are the distributors. Go get 'em!
