This movie and 'Woods of Evil'

In 2005, there was another no budget slasher flick called "Woods of Evil".
While I do think that movie was more well put together,
Some might be wondering why I'm bringing this movie up.
Even though it wasn't made by any of the people behind "S.I.C.K.",
It just has the same feel as "S.I.C.K."
with similar music, sets and camera work.

Both movies involve people staying at a cabin in the woods
and being stalked by a heavyset killer who makes weird noises.

Even though these are usual things in these kind of movies,
There was one similarity I noticed.

In "Woods of Evil",
There's a scene where the main characters go out into the woods looking for someone,
and instead, they find the skull of a dog.
I always thought that was ironic.

Both movies have a scene where this happens.
I just always thought it was a strange similarity.

Has anyone else ever noticed this?

...The cabin looks similar too.
