Who is the real life based character that Adam West impersonates in this movie?

If I understand Mario and Melvin on the DVD's commentary corectly, he's not just one guy. Many of the characters in the movie are a combination of several people, or just a sort of people. I think the Adam West character was a mix of most, if not all, of the movie producers he had to deal with.
That said, there may be one that stood out enough to base the impression on, but I'm not sure.
