Nah, all my friends like it. Critics can't be relied on for everything- especially considering they're increasingly not in the target audience.

Double Dragon is the best film in the history of man.

I totally agree with you you should ignore critics and everything they're very picky when it comes to movies that are exactly Oscar worthy! I saw this movie when I was 13 when Santa got disgusted by it because it was the first I need it at six, did I ever saw on DVD I saw it again 6 years later and I thought it was a good movie the reason I didn't like it when I was 13 years because I didn't understand it I was just a kid who never watches R rated movies but now I think it's a great movie and funny.

I hated it when it came out, but decided to watch it again last night out of shear boredom, and ended up liking it a lot more this time.

i give this movie a 10. is it citizen kane? no. does it succeed in being a hilarious movie about man-whoring? hell yes.

so many critics miss the point. they judge movies based against some gold standard instead of looking to see if they succeed at what they were trying to do.

this movie is non-stop jokes, it's endlessly inventive and it completely hits the mark. yet it gets a 4.6, whereas something like interstellar gets an 8.8 despite being mutton dressed as lamb.
