Christmas Vacation is on the lines of the best christmas movies like home alone and it's a wonderful life. But the second was just auful. It could have been something so much better if it had Chevey and was set in a CHRISTMASY ENVIRONMENT. Christmas Vacation is in my top 10 but this was just embarrasing.
I would love to see another vacation movie though with the family?

How awful was it. I never seen the whole thing, but I had a feeling it wasn't
going to be any good. If Chevy was in it, it may be good, I don't know
for a fact. Most movies that have long waited sequels that have a 5 year or
more gap, the magic is just gone. Especially if it's a new director or different actors playing the same characters, and even if it has the same
actors that played the same characters years back, it can still suck since
there's a higher chance they'll be a different director. Take Mortal Kombat Annihlation for example.

I stopped watching when Eddie was in the lab with the monkey and they were talking about radioactive injections or whatnot. Right then I could tell it was a complete failure.
