THIS is Van Damme's best DTV film, by far.

I am a big van damme fan, so I may be biased in my opinion because truthfully, I enjoy watching his films whether they are looked at as good or horrible. Wake of Death is something that I think anyone can enjoy, with or without being a big fan of the guy. The acting and action scenes are SOLID. They had a small budget but made it look great. I cant say it enough, the acting was spot on. Van Damme gives in my opinion his best performance aside from JCVD. The film doesnt hold back either. Where in some big hollywood films the hero would have done the right thing, Van Damme's character does the wrong thing...and it just feels so right!! Great, great flick. I would check this one out no matter what, whether you love or loathe the guy.
