What exactly was his objective?!

Ok, I'm thoroughly confused about Hiltz's ultimate objective: it pretty much looks like he just wanted to go around destroying things with no obvious direct results (except total chaos, of course). I've watched this show several times through and each time I'm stumped. I do have one clue, though: he did vaguely, off-handedly mention that he was trying to eliminate non-zoidian humans or something to that effect to restore the planet to zoidian ownership or something like that. Even if that was the point of all the carnage, why do it all for just three freakin' people (after all, the only zoidians left on the planet are Hiltz himself, Fiona, and Reese). If anyone can answere any part of this, please do so!

He has a superiority complex of some sort? I haven't seen the show in a while(working on getting a copy of it now) but maybe Hiltz saw humans as an inferior infestation that needed to be wiped out. It's like if there were three humans left, would you be willing to wipe out another species to ensure the survival of your own and claim ownership of your home planet?

Does anyone else understand this, and if so can you explain it to me?

I'm not sure. He was going to kill both Reese and Fiona so it wouldn't really make sense to be the only freakin' person left on the planet. He really does display non-point dead end behaviour.

After rewatching it...I think he might have been under the influence of the Death Saurer's zoid core or something, thus explaining his desire to blow up everything.

It isn't over until the fat lady sings, so somebody please duck tape her mouth shut

That's right, Hiltz was like "possessed" by the death saurer's consciousness, and so you could say that the saurer was using hiltz as a medium to "communicate" they never actually explained it's motives deathsaurere's i mean all zoids are conscious/self aware, but the death saurer is the only one that wants to destroy everything, i guess we're missing something in the story that the original japanese version would've prolly answer.

Taking an exemple from zoids genesis the last zoids anime to come out, jinn called himself GOD by piloting the bio-tyranno, it was never stated if the bio-tyranno was also controlling jinn, but i suppose the deathsaurer felt like something close to a god and wanted to destroy everything?
