this is quite something

couldn't find a better title for this.

the thing is... when i first watched the show (OVA wasn't released yet), i was pretty disappointed by the ending. so sudden, drastic and open-ended.

so when i only recently heard that they've actually made more episodes to provide a "proper" ending, i was pretty ecstatic and couldn't wait to watch them.

just now, i sat myself down to watch the last two episodes of the TV show and then the OVA ones.
but once i started, i was reminded of what a bitter story it largely is and how great i felt it was. and while i didn't remember the specifics of the ending, i somehow had the feeling that it was fitting after all. and i was so afraid that the OVA might ruin those great memories i had of the show that i switched the TV episode off after maybe 10 minutes and instead decided to listen to the OST and just savor the atmosphere...
