I thought that re-envisioning of the story was interesting and could been back to back with Smallville. There could have been one season with them in the "Blacktop jungle" then like season two and three they go to where Tarzan lived. Either crash or on purpose looking for something. Come back for season 4 with many of the principle charters changed by the time in the jungle. and then a season 5 to wrap things up, "Jump the Shark" and hit 100 eps.
shareThat's what basically happened in Prison Break. This show had great potential, with Tarzan becoming Lord of the Urban Jungle, just as he had been of the African. This certainly had the potential of becoming as successful as Spiderman, and for a much more believable reason too.

I wish they could just follow by the books, you know start it out with Tarzan growing up in the jungle, teaching himself to read and write. He becomes a lot of things in Africa, something scary and sometimes something to be curious about. Jane being tough is great but I wish she wasn't a cop, and nothing against Travis and Sarah but I would have casted actors with gymnastic skills, martial arts and can act. Plus have the gal be a blonde, I read the book and Jane was describe to having golden hair.
