I admit, I do not like this anime one bit. For starters, the voice acting is terrible. Chris is by far the worst character and I think he should be killed off or just get out of the series. Whoever did the voice for Rouge did a bad job, and I do not like the voice actor for Sonic in this series as much as I did for Jaleel's. This show is a disgrace, it was nothing like the Sonic a little over a decade ago. The first two series (AOSTH and SatAm) of Sonic were the best, I enjoyed both of them very well, they were both a bit funny and entertaining, as well as being creative. I really wish they would of continued on with both of them, since the SatAm series was cut short and the AOSTH series was real funny at times. If your an anime fan and expect the good detail don't read this but if your looking for a series that involves a good storyplot and a lot of excitement, this show isn't for you. I hate this show. It really goes downhill later in the series, with Chris being more annoying than ever.

I agree, the voice acting isn't great.

The storylines and direction of Sonic X aren't much. it's basically taken the Sonic the Hedgehog SEGA games, and animated them. Humans and Mobians co-existing. That shouldn't be, to be fair the only human in the whole Sonic the Hedgehog SEGA game franchise is Robotnik .

Personally, I Prefer the SatAM/Archie storylines. Sonic X just doesn't work for me, for two reasons .

1: Jaleel White doesn't do the voice for Sonic , as he did in the 3 previous Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon. Jaleel White gave Sonic a personality. The other characters in Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM) also had personalities

2: Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM) had story continuity. Sonic (SatAM) original. I know, it wasn't exactly based on the SEGA games, because if it were it would boring. Wait a minute...isn't Sonic X exactly based on the SEGA games?

I am fan of Sonic the Hedgehog , I just don't like the Sonic X series because they've reduced Sonic the Hedgehog to a character with little, or no personality. What the *beep* happened? Hey, at least Jaleel White, in the Sonic (SatAM) series and The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog , gave Sonic a personality and made him really stand out.

Bring back Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM)!!!

Can't we criticise Decoe?

So, just one little mistake ruins it all for you, yes?
Come on, it's just a show.

P.S: "...and I think he should be killed off or just get out of the series." is probably the funniest sentence ever.

I agree with everybody one this board.Sonic X is one of the worst,if not THE worst anime I've ever seen.My little sister's watching it now,but she usually sticks to the games rather than this minless trash.Here's a list of some of it.

Maria-SHE WAS NOT TAKEN!!!!SHE WAS MURDERED!!!!They ruin Shadow in the process!!!4Kids for some reason seem to try to make him a pure bad guy,and that you HAVE to like Sonic better.THAT'S NOT WHAT HE IS!!!!Shadow is a hedgehog that had to experience more suffering and pain than any other character in the games.And the Shadow in the games makes you feel pure sympothy and you just want to cry with him.But 4Kids took that away.

Cosmo-Another death issue.The idiots made it look like she just went back with her mother.NO NO NO NO!!!!!She died!!!!Jeez.And they took the pain that Tails was feeling,and give no pain to the voice.He has to shoot the girl he loves,and he sounds fine.God,people HAVE to learn death is natural to show.They showed it on Seseme Street,and that's for KIDS!!!!!

The Time Stop-THIS IS A BAD THING!?In my opinion,this is the most PATHETIC reason why they have to go back.Time's going to freeze forever.So?I wouldn't want to live forever,but come on!!They can SURLY come up with something better!!!

The thing is 4Kids took an average anime and made it close to unwatchable. The Dub was sheer pain compared to the Japanese version.

I don't absolutely hate Sonic X, but I was hugely disappointed. As a huge fan of the SatAM series, I was looking forward to this, but I had many problems with this(excuse me if I reapeat what has already been said:

- Too much Chris, not enough Sonic. Chris is quite obnoxious later on, and Sonic's unique personality doesn't come through. In fact, with the exception of Chris all the characters are underdeveloped
- Animation style is uneven.
- The storylines are inconsistent, and contradict with the games.
- The theme tune I found too loud and annoying for my tastes.
- The writing is very superficial, Eggman's lines are lame sometimes and don't make sense.
- The voice work(the English Dub that is) isn't that great. Because of the superficial writing, nobody stands out.

I liked the first two episodes though.

Yeah, this is pretty disappitning compared to the adventures of sonic the hedgehog and the sonic the hedgehog series. Both this and Sonic Underground were of great disappointments. Since when does Sonic have a brother and sister and what did his mother look like? And why does Sonic befriend an idiotic boy named Chris?

The voices are terrible compared to the game. Amy sounds like she has asthma, Tails sounds like a ten-year-old little girl, Rouge sounds like she's fifty, Cream sounds too cutesy (also with Cheese), Shadow's voice is a little higher than it needs to be, Sonic sounds like a teenager (even though he is), but he really needs to sound like he's awesome, Knuckles is a little too tough for his voice. And nothing compared to Chris since he's the new character of the series.

There is not enough adventure but the action is much but too lame. The theme song gets annoying since it sings nothing but about how fast Sonic is. It doesn't say like "He outsmarts every enemy" or "He's got an attitude" like the theme songs for AOSTH and SATAM. And when Tails' heart is broken, he sounds like his normal voice. He doesn't sound like his voice is breaking and sobbing enough.

Yeah, 4Kids sucks. They even cut some scenes out and did bad dubbing.

I hated this show so much. I only liked one Sonic show and it was the one with the great theme song. It was dark, this one had that annoying kid.
