Not only does this show dismal and barely watchable acting, it also has some "values" which is not meant for kids. I think everyone would agree that rap not only includes bad language, but portrays ideas that women are sex toys, drugs are okay, and ghetto life is good. Now this Romeo kid is singing it?? True it doesn't have bad language or anything, but the idea is there. The kids who are watching this will now want to buy Dr. Dre's or Snoop Dog's newest album, which has exactly those things. In one episode, (the first and last one I'll see) is where Romeo's brother crashed a go-kart. To raise the money to repair it, Romeo "sings" for donations, (he did it for his brother, which is a nice touch for kids, but does little to reverse the rest) I couldn't even understand what he was singing, but the worse part was that his friend, a girl, was singing some crap like "I need you" or "We're smooth" or something like that. Whatever it was, it's not good for kids to listen. Not only that, but it promotes "blonde" stupidity. Romeo's blonde classmate, when told of a buffer zone, asked "what's that?." Earlier, they also didn't know what the word "exasperated" is. Whether or not they define it is not the point, but it strikes me that this show is teaching kids how to be a dumb, ghetto low-life with few morals. I'm not racist against the African Americans, but this show, IMO, is promoting the worst of them. Thanks for reading my opinion.

Yes... I agree completely. Well Done... but you forgot to write how horrible this show is.

btw, I do listen to and enjoy some rap music. That said, I am 17 years old, which is older than the average viewer of this pitiful excuse for a TV show, and I do believe that crap like this is harmful to todays youth because of the negitive sterotypes that it promotes.

all rap music sings about women being nothing but sex toys, it is disguisting and it is total BS. I am 20 years old and I dont understand why people around my age like that horrible music so much.

I really dont know how terrible it is for kids- I mean its not 5 year olds that are watching it, its 10 year olds- who know more about rap than you think. The kids who watch Romeo watch MTV and BET and such, even at a young age. I agree with juel, there is nothing about rap and violence.

If you want inappropriate- think about what Romeo and his friends would be doing in real life in the ghetto if the show was at all realistic. They would be smoking, fighting, and having sex. But the show gives a soft image of the ghetto, i mean the only thing inappropriate about it is the rapping- which by the way has no bad words in it. The kids Romeos age in real life use bad words when they rap, especially cuss words.

Considering the show is made by Master P and Romeo, what do you expect- itll be about rapping and the ghetto. But be happy its a PG version, and not a PG-13 version like in Honey, or an R version like in the real life of someone in Romeo's character's age and situation.

Thats my story and Im sticking to it.

your total *beep* i my self don't like rap so much but i know that rap isn't bad...not all rap has *beep* like that and most rap is really good so don't start making false accusations or saying that ALL kinds of things are blah blah blah because you never...WILL never know all kinds of things....thats almost like saying black people are only wanting *beep*, drugs and other things in that category, but thats not true . This show was both dumb and cool. episodes wer 50/50

also one of romeos hobbies is rapping. And hes made rapping his main thing in his tv show so its actually telling kids to go after their dreams

well i dont agree that much cuz....the rap they sing is meaningless. I mean, it has no purpose for it and this type of rap is not meant to be wrote to set a bad example for kids because the rap does not include inappropriate lyrics for kids to listen to and btw, the show is meant for teens, but im 15 and i dont watch the show and im not interested in watching it but based on one episode there was not 1 bad thing children should be exposed to...but thats just what i believe based on 1 episode sooo ya lol i should say nething cuz i only saw 1 episode. anyone agree?

You just generalized all rap. Not all is like that. Most of the rap I've heard is usually people getting out their emotions or life stories. And I hate rap... so... yeah.

Well... okay. I'm guessing you're blonde? Actually, I've found that alot of blondes ARE stupid. Not all, but some. Usually the ones who dye their hair. Because, usually, they are the ones in the 'in' crowd... and those people are ALWAYS stupid. ALWAYS. So, it's not entirely untruthful. Besides, they probably weren't even aware they were promoteing the 'Dumb Blonde' stereotype. Calm down, dudesie.

Okay... there is NO WAY these kids are ghetto. They are rich, spoiled kids who try to ACT ghetto because their in the hip hop craze. Their daddy is rich and they have a wonderful house... THEY HAVE A HOUSEKEEPER FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!! There is no way... NO WAY they are in any way, ghetto. They're just wiggers.

Same goes for someone else that said this show shows a soft version of a ghetto lifestyle. Read above.

I Agree wit magicallepercon dude. he never raps about women or 'crap' on the show cuz if he was y the hell would they give it on a PG rated show and on a Childrens channel answer that. well i got to say the acing is pretty poor but if you dont like the damn show dont watch it and IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WIT WAT IM SAYING SAY IT TO ME. OH AND I COME FROM THE BLOODZ, BRONX THE GHETTO IM GHETTO AND YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH BEING GHETTO I BET U THAT U CANT STAY 1 WEEK IN MAH PLACE.

Romeo! isnt the only show that stereotypes blondes as being stupid. Many other shows do that and i dont see you writing your litte racist reviews over there. And many rock/country or anything talks abot sex maybe not in the same tone but it is spoken of, and whoever said rap is about meaningless stuff, Queen, a rock band, has a song called "I want to ride my bicycle" and its pretty much the title said over and over again.

That's phenomenal that you are a member of the "Bloodz" (shouldn't that be Bloods?) and come from the Bronx or the ghetto, but my question is.... DO YOU OR HAVE YOU EVER ATTENDED SCHOOL? I agree this show is good. I bet that the people who said this show is terrible haven't seen more than one show. All i can say is that those people need to get out more and see that music and television is already saying things like this. So why are they going crazy over one show?
