Ruby's voice makes me want to kill someone.

One of my daughters is really into this show. I can sit indifferently through a lot of the shows my kids watch, but I absolutely despise this one.

The thing that bothers me most is Ruby's voice. It's so grating and cutesy-cutesy. She also over-enunciates every syllable. For instance, she doesn't just say "Max." She says "Mack-sss."

Every time I hear that voice I say to myself, I would like to find that voice-over actress and punch her right in the face. I just checked IMDB and now I see, surprisingly, that Samantha Morton voices Ruby. So, watch your back, Samantha Morton. I'm cracking my knuckles right now, dreaming about the day our paths may cross randomly.

I agree. You're not thinking of Samantha Morton though, she did the early voice for Ruby. Now it's someone else. I am actually surprised that Samantha did Ruby's voice at all though, that's so weird.

While I agree with Ruby 100% of the time I do hate her voice! The voice actress is terrible. LOL! **gagging in a bag** XP

I hated Samantha Morton as Ruby. She DID overenunciate everything. Trust me, I have every episode of every season from iTunes. Her performance is so overdone it's like she is insulting even to toddlers.

you're right i didn't realize the ones I was seeing on TV were the early ones (I thought they were more recent) and it's her voice that's the annoying one

Several times I have placed a loaded weapon to my temple, unable to endure Ruby's saccharin sweet voice any longer. I know someday, I'm going to read of some mentally unstable soul who goes on a killing rampage yelling, "Bunny Scouts! Bunny Scouts! Bunny Scouts!"

Agree 100% about her voice. The way the actress portrays the character is like she's a nurse talking to someone in a madhouse. I can't take more than a few minutes of it.
