Song played at the end of the first episode?

Does anybody know what song was played at the very end of the first episode? It was when Jason Scwartzman's character was eating dinner with the family. It sorted of sounded like Phantom Planet (the band Jason's in), and I think it's a cover of an old song because I've definitely heard it before.

Muse - Origin Of Symmetry, track 10. Muse is amazing!

Hey- I knew the song sounded familiar! They played it once on Queer As Folk and I used to have it on my list. It does sound like Phantom Planet, though.. I LOVED Jason's face at the end of that episode- when Preston grabbed his hand for the prayer.

I guessed it was Muse, nice to see them getting some exposure beyond Ultragrrrl...

I hate to be the downer b*tch that corrects everyone (ecck hate it!) but jason is no longer in Phantom Planet : ( they have a new drumemr jeff Konrad althought Jason DID contribute to PP's last album(s/t). The CD is soooo awesome. I like the new CD maybe even better than the previous CD (The Guest)the band incorporates alot of new sounds.

Do they regularly feature good music on this show?

I'm a really big Muse fan and I'm a bit upset that I missed their appearance on Cracking Up. I caught the last 10 mins of the basketball episode and it really didn't grab me at all. Is this show meant to be a comedy?

I think that if they can at least play some decent music of the Muse-calibre, I might just endure it. Whaddayasay?
