Season 5 Part 2 is up on Netflix

Unless you'd seen the trailer over the past two weeks or so, Netflix has finally dropped the second half of Season 5 almost a year after the first. If your Netflix is like mine, many might not even know since the "New Episodes" banner is not appearing over AD to let fans know. Having just reacquainted myself with the first half, I don't expect it to achieve the fantastic heights of the original episodes from 2003-06, but these are talented people both in front of and behind the camera, I expect it to have random moments that will be hilarious and inspired. This may be the last time we'll see any new episodes as the franchise doesn't have nearly the adoration it had in the 00's. If this is truly the show's last hurrah (as David Cross believes)I'm keeping my fingers crossed these last eight episodes will go out with a bang worthy of the show so many of us loved in its original incarnation.

Really? Nobody cares about AD anymore? Have the Netflix seasons truly tarnished the legacy of this brilliant show irreversibly?

I quite enjoyed the latest half season.

I watched it over the weekend and liked it a lot. It's not quite as funny anymore as the original seasons but it's still really good imo. There were some truly hilarious moments, mostly from Toby and Gob, who are my favourite characters.

If this is the end of the show I'll sure miss it, but it will remain as one of my favourite shows ever.
