Season 4: Things you might've missed the first time through

1. Rebel Alley's son is called Lem; the space vehicle in Ron Howard's office is LEM.

2. The first time we see Argyle Austero, he's wearing an argyle sweater.

3. On the religious show co-hosted by Pastor Veal and Father Marsala, Veal announces his daughter is getting married. Marsala replies that he didn't know Veal had a daughter

Veal: "You've met her several times."
Marsala: "Oh."
Veal: "She's sitting right next to you."
(The camera pans over to Ann)
Marsala: "Oh! That's why she's there. I thought she was Hair."

Veal: "Hair?"

4. GOB and Ann are going to get married at the church of Holy Eternal Rapture, and you see large letters for the acronym, followed by what looks to be a question mark, hanging up above Pastor Veal.

5. A joke recalling what Lucille said in an earlier season - "How am I supposed to find someone willing to go into that musty old claptrap?" - and Michael taking a moment to realize she means the Bluth cabin. In a 4th season episode, after "intense and beautiful" lovemaking between Lucille and Oscar (pretending to be George), there's a small misunderstanding that occurs, resulting in Lucille slapping him for something he's said (which we don't hear), and he replies to the slap with, "N-no. I, I mean, it's good to be out of that sweaty old hot box at the compound."

6. Bob Loblaw defends Barry Zuckerkorn from charges of peeping over the gate of a school. He has Barry try to reach over the gate to unlock it, but his arm is too short. In a different episode, Barry is in the hardware store buying a short step ladder. "Cash. No receipt."

7. One of Andy Richter's brothers is named "Chareth" - same first name Michael used when he told Maggie Lizer his name was Chareth Cutestory. Also, in the photo of the Richter quintuples, under Andy, the words 'co-star 'Michael B. Project"' are crossed out.

8. We hear the "Mr. F" jingle a few times again.

9. Similarly, we hear the word "coincidence" sung a couple of times when characters (notably Lindsay) think something that's just happened contains some meaning to it.

From the Maeby episode of the Original Cut of AD:

10. "...get a little Mexican in me." She was referring to Perfecto, not the tacos Donny Richter had bought.

11. The "Harris" of "George Maharris" came from Maeby's mispronunciation of "heiress"

12. At the Opie Awards, second reference to Zack and Cody during season 4.

13. and Jeremy Piven

I hadn't seen Entourage before my first viewing of season 4.

reply

Never watched Entourage either, but I read about the " And Jeremy Piven" reference
