To me, Lindsay is always that self-absorbed Southern California girl. Portia doesn't usually get the praise that the male actors do, but I can think of quite a few hilarious Lindsay moments.

I notice it constantly. And I had no idea that Portia was Australian, so it was confusing. It's especially apparent when she says the word "anything".
I'm not hating, I love the character and think Portia is a decent actress. Accents can be tough for some actors.
oh! she's australian.... I did not know that! I had just assumed Lindsay's occasionally quirky elocution was part of de Rossi's portrayal of the character's speech impediment due to the constant substance abuse.
