what a waste

what a waste of tv time!! they created this show thinking a lot of people would tune into into it, but they were wrong. there were only what 2 million veiwers, and not only that, but the "american juniors" arent even no more, i think it was a waste, like seriously

and dont criticize me for "hating" im just putting out my opinion

i personally don't think it was a waste. it might have been a waste on fox's part but that's how the buisness goes sometimes. they put a whole load of money into the show and got barely any back...but i still think it was very successful in a couple of ways. firstly it helped young and talented kids get out there. it helped them get a foot in the door. maybe you haven't heard much about the juniors anymore but i talk to many kids who were on the show and they've gotten involved with so much more stuff then they would have if the show didn't exsist. the top 5 who got into the group are putting out a cd this summer(they just finished recording their last 2 tracks for the album) and are possibly going on tour. they're also talking with tv networks like disney and nick about making a show about the group. you might think that's a waste but its probably a heck of a lot more then a lot of aspiring singers will ever do. many other kids who have appeared on the show have also gotten more involved in the buisness. these kids have gotten numerous movie offers and tv role offers among other things. i believe this show has helped them greatly...and its not bad to add another line in your resume when you're a singer/actor/actress/dancer/model or whatever your goal is.

now don't hate me either...this is just my opinion, lol. but yes i do think that fox was pretty dumb for coming up with this idea. they clearly wasted money...but at the same time they've helped many talented kids...and without american juniors i wouldn't have met some of these amazing kids!!
