Does anyone know if and when they will release this movie in the rest of the country? I for one can't wait to see it, but can't travel to LA right now. I just don't understand why this hasn't gotten more press. I went to see Cinderella Man last weekend and was dissapointed, because with all the press and good reviews I thought it was going to be spectacular, and it was just ok.
The reason I mention that is because I think Andy is a better actor than Russell Crow, but Russell gets all the good press, and he's such a bad boy. And Andy does quality work and hardly ever gets recognized for it and it makes me very upset.

Yes, Andy is indeed a better actor than Russell Crow. In fact,Andy is the best actor in my opinion. It is just the fact that people do not recognize that. Don't worry, if a movie gets a lots of attention and people go to see it, does not mean that it is a good movie. Andy's movies are of top quality and he is wonderful in all the movies he has acted. Someone has found that Modigliani will be released in the Florida area in July. So, don't give up hope and I really hope that you will be able to see this movie in a cinema near you.

I saw this film at the Miami International Film Festival, the cast and director were there, it was the opening film. Amazing film it's a shame that because it does not have the backing of the big studios it is not yet released nation wide. It is one of the best films that I have seen all year.

Good news, this film has been released in New York today. I hope it will be released in many other cities. I just don't understand why the critics gave bad reviews. To me, this is one of the best movies I have seen in years. Amazing performances by Andy Garcia and rest of the cast. If you are lucky to find a movie theatre near you which shows this movie, go and see it!

i've always been a fan of andy garcia and cought him on regis and kelly yesterday promoting this film. It looks like a work of art. I can't wait for his film that he made "The Lost City" to come out. Apparently he finished it 2 weeks and is trying to get it distributed now.

Does anyone know if Modigliani will be coming to canada anytime soon?
