Coke light

Didn't anyone think that the scene in which they ask him to play his own composition and then guy hands him a Diet Coke, Coke lite/light or whatever you want to call it seemed totally forced just because Coke Light funded the film?

I thought it was really tacky and they could have had some diet coke at the cafe where the girl worked if they had to advertise it.
