I didn't like the movie for a silly reason. I hated the character of the lead pair. They were losers who never cared to know who their neighbor is and even never tried to look around to search for the person they want. They don't have friends and never tried to be friendly to the people who cared for them. I would have liked the ending to be that they never meet. Such people deserve that kind of punishment.

This is a pretty harsh assessment of them, and pretty unfair. Losers? Just because they are shy? Lots of people who aren't shy don't care to know their neighbours either. The doctor was a self-inflated, egotistical jerk. The delivery girl was a slob who used the violinist's place as somewhere to watch sports. Why do you think there is some kind of an obligation to fall in love with someone who likes you? And why should they be punished? And do you think that finding a person to love is simply a matter of searching, rather than a chance meeting...after...turning left or right?
