Proof that Indians are hijacking the top 250

First off http://top250.info/ is a great site for looking at trends and stats relating to the top 250.

Now this is the IMDb top 250 as of November 12, 2014:
http://top250.info/charts/?2014/11/12
It looks pretty normal and nothing is wrong and if you notice Swades is at #250.

And now here is the IMDb top 250 from the very next day, November 13, 2014:
http://top250.info/charts/?2014/11/13
Swades jumped 11 spots in one day to become #239!!! If you also notice, ALL of the Indian movies on the top 250 increased several spots that day. Dil Chahta Hai jumped 7 spots, Lagaan jumped 8 spots, Rang De Basanti jumped 7 spots, Like Stars on Earth jumped 2 spots, and 3 Idiots jumped 2 spots.

Coincidence? I don't think so. Movies on the top 250 don't just jump enormous spots in one day unless they're recent films. It's clear that the fans of these Indian films are clearly cheating the system and making various fake accounts or something of that nature. IMDb needs to do something about this! It's ridiculous and unfair.

though it is strange that some people here are so heavy fans of this movie that they really want to get it into the top250 charts, there is no need to cheat for this people.

you underestimate the power of india, and this power is especially that there live incredible lot people.
4 times more than in the USA and nearly twice as many as in europe.

if the film jumps some positions the movie was maybe sent in public tv on this day.

it is obvious that imdb got more popular in india the last years
and thats the reason why more and more bollywood-films enter the top250.

in my opinion those films also don´t deserve to be in this charts,
cause they are mostly not good enough (in my european eyes),
but thats the way it will happen more and more in the future.

imdb used to be a platform with a mainly western view
and that will maybe change in the future.

Yeah, I guess IMDb is like oxygen that every human being, specially Indians, surely has to have it.

LOL wonderful logic.

The first thing Indians do, when they buy a computer or visit an internet cafe, is to register on IMDb. 

You know what's unfair?

Established classics getting thrown out of that useless list to make way for whatever superhero movie came out this month.

Indian movies have as much right to be in the list as any others. If you don't think so, just ignore the list.
