I think this is the best movie the biggest Bollywood star has done till date.. It makes me wonder as to why he doesn't do such movies more often!

absolutely! He should avoid doing more movies with Karan Johar and Yash Chopra. The real actor in him comes out when he works with talented directors like ashutosh and Mani Ratnam.
