First just to note, I loved this movie and I am not at all Indian--now I know more about the conditions of India.

The question I am here to ask is: at what point does any character speak Tamil, as it is listed in the languages? Also, why didn't imdb list English as a language spoken? Oh well.

The movie was dubbed into Tamil and released in the state of Tamil Nadu. So the listing.

According to IMDb rules, that does not qualify it for a primary language listing--only what's spoken in the original version does. Peace.

Um... I can't think of anything except for the fact that they called Kaveri 'Amma', which is a South Indian thing, I thought.
