Swades has just come out on Blu Ray! It's still one of my favorite movies of all time.

If you havent bought blu-ray copy yet, then please drop your plans of buying it.
One of my close friend has worked on the blu-ray production of 'Swades' and he informed me that the master print received for encoding was of a crap quality and hence the blu-ray copy coming out in the market is crap too.
If you are looking for a quality product as what blu-ray technology promises, then please stay away from buying one.

Actually i have also a blu-ray copy of sawdes and it has a little bit problem in encoding due to older film,otherwise print is awesome..
