Honestly. Cinema simply doesn't get any better than this.

Ultimate.

I agree...This is the best movie. If you watch it like loscakes says. I laughed so hard that I started crying. When the chimp gives Chris Potter a high-five after putting a demo charge on a rouge missile I thought I was going to poop out my internal organs....Oh my is this great!

worst movie ever!!!!

reply

It's so bad it's incredible!

The movie is obviously awesome because the title is funny. The writer of this movie probably wrote the phenomenom that was Step Up, the title is nowhere near as clever though.

This movie is a type to get out the "cranberry sauce" as Dave Dixon use to say in fact I recommend two cans of the sauce.

Jeezus. Doesn't anyone get sarcasm anymore without an emoticon attached?

Seriously tho'. If it weren't for the fact that this was a Direct to Video, I think Richard Kind could have been nominated for Best Actor Oscar against Russell Crowe in "A Beautiful Mind".

Oh, all right... :-p and a ;-) in case someone else doesn't get "sarcasm".

reply

Zewle is obviously saying it sarcastically. To the rest of ya trying to do a critical analysis of it...um, the main actor is a chimpanzee (I'm talking about Minkey, not "Kung Fu - A New Beginning" Chris Potter). You can only take it so seriously! Relax. It's not going to diminish Robert DeNiro's performance in "Raging Bull".

It's obviously a direct to vid meant for babysitters to rent at their local BlockBusters so the bratty kids will be kept occupied while highschool babysitter, Sue, talks to her friend on her I-Phone.

I only just now got around to this film, and wow. I can't believe that I've been missing this. Incredible film.

reply

Seriously. I suspect Martin Scorcese saw this movie and was inspired to become an even greater director afterward.

reply

It was interesting to see Emma Roberts when she was young and I did not pay attention to who Musetta Vander was until I watched this movie (I know I saw her in Stargate) but otherwise I would not have missed a thing if I never watched it.
