Did anyone else think it amazing that Daniel Craig turned up in such an obscure low budget foreign film? Seriously: what a cool guy. How many other James Bonds would have done that?

He did exist before he was Bond, and has been in many 'low budget' films. He just didn't do Hollywood films!
You might lose with me, but you will never win without me!
Fateless was just after Layer Cake which was a hit in the UK, but not anywhere else. Taking this small part as a yank got him noticed and then he got the film Munich.
Its funny he was brilliant in Road to Perdition in 2002 but with Hanks and Newman and at that time Jude Law, poor Daniel never got the credit he deserved.
Mind you where is Jude Law now?
But like Connery, Craig needed Bond to make that breakthough and since Casino Royale he is the main man, and what a brilliant actor he is
