did he mean it? *spoilers*

just before seiji dies, he asks kenshiro if sanga was strong. kenshiro tells seiji that sanga was stonger than seiji. is this true? i got the impression that seiji was stronger than sanga. can someone please tell me if kenshiro was telling the truth or not?
cheers.

I saw it today and I think he said this as he knew this would Senji feel better, don't ask me why but this is how I felt.

He said that to make him feel like his trials had been worth it. Had all of his efforts been to destroy a weak man, or a strong man. And taking the idea that you're only as tough as your toughest opponent, well, it explains itself. We actually know Sanga was a twat face who got his arse kicked, and Seiji was also a cock, and that Kenshiro simply is the hardest man ever. Again...who is tough enough to beat Ken, he has leathered everyone else?!

reply

Ken was sparing Seiji the truth. He didn't want the last thing Seiji heard before he died to be that his father, whom he had trained so long to overcome was a weak man. Even when fighting Souther, Kenshiro has almost always shown compassion to his enemies and Kenshiro treated Seiji no different.
