Isabella Rosselini has always reminded me of Kids in the Hall's Dave Foley in drag (especially when Foley used to dress up as the red-coated, thick-accented prostitute character).
At times in this movie, when she and Mark Mackinney were on screen together, she really reminded me of him!
Funny you mention this. I have a little anecdote. My mom really has a lousy visual memory. The other day I showed her the cover of the Kids in the Hall dvd and asked her if she recognized the one that was in 'The Saddest Music in the World'. With a lot of confidence she pointed at Dave and said 'Well, that's her, Isabella Rosselini, of course!'.
He was blond-ish, had short hair and wasn't dressed in drag... I mean I know they look a lot alike, but I could she not see that Dave's a guy!
