I am really disappointed by that movie; not that it was bad or not original, but the music was not present enough. I was expecting a movie about music, but the only times we get music, it is interrupted by some annoying buzz or the crowd that cheers or the commentators. Perhaps, I will have to organize a real "Saddest music in the world" contest muself!

Don't watch it if your only interest in it was the sad music. There is simply not a lot of it and the music featured is frequently interrupted. The music competition is similar to a sporting match. There is a cheering crowd and announcers talking over the performers.
I'll bring home the turkey if you bring home the bacon.
Yeah, if you're out for listening to sad music that's not the right film. It becomes quite a chaos (the film) if you have such expectations!
