Isabella's acting worth it

The two leads were very good (he reminded me of Ernie Kovacs), but the movie was unnecessarily disjointed and confusing. It helps to know something about Winnipeg, and Canadian culture and "typical" Canadian comical types such as the male radio (?) commentator at the contest.
