Did anybody get the joke in the Easter Egg on the DVD

There's an Easter Egg on the DVD wherein if you go into the Extras Menu and press up and enter you will get to see a short clip of some talk show host on some talk show making a quick joke which goes something like this:

"In other news, Pink Floyd visited Russia today where their album 'Dark Side of the Crescent Moon' has been at the top of the album charts for the last decade. A spokesman for the Soviet State has commented 'Wow, The Floyd Man" <audience laughs>.

I don't get it, I mean I get the 'crescent moon' reference but I'm stumped as far as the rest of the joke is concerned.

Anybody know? And who is that talk-show host?
